Membership Eligibility
1. Membership is open to working / retired/ freelance press photographers, news
cameramen, and related professionals actively engaged in the profession.
2. Associate or honorary membership may be offered to individuals who support
the objectives of the association.
Rights & Benefits of Members
1. Members receive identity cards (valid for the membership period).
2. Members can participate in all association events, meetings, and elections
(as per by-laws).
3. Members are eligible for welfare programs, training, and certification
opportunities.
4. Members’ work may be featured in exhibitions, publications, and online
galleries of PPNCWA (with due credit).
Duties of Members
1. To uphold the dignity of press photography and news camerawork.
2. To follow the association’s constitution, rules, and codes of conduct.
3. To pay membership fees/subscriptions on time.
4. To avoid misuse of association identity for personal or unrelated purposes.
Membership Fees & Renewal
1. Membership fees shall be prescribed by the association and revised if
necessary by the Executive Committee.
2. Membership must be renewed annually (unless lifetime membership is opted
for).
Termination / Cancellation of Membership
1. Membership may be terminated if:
- Fees remain unpaid despite reminders.
- The member acts against the objectives of the association.
- Misuse of ID or misconduct is reported and proved.
- Absence of a registered member without prior information in 3 consecutive meetings/activities
of the association.
- All final decisions will be taken by Core Committee and will be binding and mandatory.
2. Members may voluntarily resign by written communication.
Privacy & Data
1. Member details will be stored securely and used only for association’s
official purposes.
2. The association will not share personal data with third parties without
consent.
Acceptance
By applying for membership, the applicant agrees to abide by all rules,
regulations, and future amendments ratified by the PPNCWA.
